Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support an Aerospace client in East Hartford, CT. This individual will serve as a technical liaison between customers, maintenance facilities, field service teams, and internal engineering organizations. The role is responsible for providing technical guidance on engine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to support fleet reliability and customer satisfaction.
The Engineer will troubleshoot operational and maintenance-related issues, provide recommendations for continued service, support urgent Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) events, and develop technical documentation including Engineering Authorizations (EA), Special Instructions, and maintenance procedures. This individual will manage multiple technical issues simultaneously, analyze engineering data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges while supporting customer meetings, fleet support initiatives, and maintenance programs.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 4-7yrs of engineering experience supporting aerospace propulsion systems, engine maintenance, technical operations, customer support engineering, aftermarket engineering, or field service engineering
- Experience troubleshooting complex aerospace, mechanical, or engine-related systems
- Aerospace industry experience supporting engine maintenance, repair, overhaul, or fleet operations
- Experience developing or supporting technical maintenance documentation, engineering instructions, or repair procedures
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting commercial or military aircraft engine programs
- Knowledge of gas turbine engine hardware and maintenance practices
- Experience working with airline customers, MRO facilities, or field service teams
- Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Engine Manuals (EM), and Engineering Authorizations (EA)
Experience supporting Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) events and technical issue resolution
