Job Description

An environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities is looking to bring on a Structural Engineer to support their team. As a member of the team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world. This position's responsibilities include overseeing scope, scheduling and budget for large industrial projects, reviewing designs from others and adjusting any issues, and collaborating with all other disciplines to incorporate their requirements into structural design. This role will also require time reviewing and preparing construction cost estimates, as well as continuous refinement of documentation processes and engineering standards. Overall, this role will be heavily focused in interpreting and putting together construction documents, and heavy partnership with the design team on production. Some site surveys and light travel may required occasionally. The salary range for this role is $90,000-$125,000, but may adjust within this range based on years of experience and skills. This role requires a hybrid schedule, working at least 3x/week in the Westminster, CO office.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of Structural Engineering experience
Active Professional Engineer license or Structural Engineer License in the state of CO
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of specifications/calculations for construction using concrete, masonry and steel
Commercial or industrial specific experience (water wastewater knowledge strongly preferred)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters Degree in Structural Engineering
Experience with MicroStation, Revit, or AutoCAD
