A client of Insight Global is seeking a Regional Quality, Compliance & Safety Manager to support and strengthen clinical operations across multiple regions. This organization is a growing, multi‑state home care provider delivering nursing and home health aide services in patients’ homes. The role is critical to maintaining high standards of clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and patient safety while supporting scalable growth.
Role Overview
The Regional Quality, Compliance & Safety Manager is responsible for owning and improving clinical documentation, compliance standards, and quality assurance processes across all regions. This role ensures that clinical care is accurately documented, compliant with all applicable regulations, and consistently audit‑ready.
This individual serves as the internal subject matter expert on state, federal, ACHC, and Department of Labor (DOL) regulations and works closely with clinical, billing, intake, scheduling, and operational teams to align workflows, reduce risk, and improve efficiency. The role is both strategic and hands‑on, combining system design, oversight, training, and enforcement of standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Documentation & EMR Optimization
Design, build, and continuously improve EMR forms, templates, and documentation workflows
Ensure Plans of Care are clinically appropriate, compliant, defensible, and aligned with authorized hours
Standardize documentation practices across regions
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to reduce manual work and improve visibility
Quality Assurance & Chart Oversight
Oversee QA review of all clinical documentation, including assessments, reassessments, supervisory visits, and discharges
Track late charts, documentation errors, and recurring issues by clinician or region
Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective action plans
Ensure documentation supports efficient billing and minimizes pre‑billing delays
Regulatory Compliance & Survey Readiness
Maintain compliance with all applicable home health regulations
Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update workflows and documentation standards
Lead audit preparation, mock surveys, and regulatory inspections
Ensure policies and procedures remain current and consistently followed
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Partner with RDONs, SCMs, Intake & Authorization, Scheduling, Billing, and Operations
Serve as a resource for documentation and compliance questions
Bridge communication between clinical staff, physicians, and administrative teams to resolve gaps quickly
Clinical Training & Infrastructure Leadership
Develop and deliver clinical documentation training and education programs
Support onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing education initiatives
Create standardized tools, guides, and workflows to support multi‑state operations
Promote a culture where documentation excellence supports clinical quality and compliance

Required Skills & Experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master’s degree preferred
2–3+ years of experience in quality, compliance, or safety
4+ years of experience in home health, nursing leadership, or related clinical roles
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations; DOL experience preferred
Proficiency with EMRs and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule and participate in on‑call rotation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior leadership or management experience
Experience supporting multi‑state clinical operations
Compensation:
$95,000 to $105,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
