Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is seeking a Senior QA Engineer I to support and stabilize quality efforts across a growing application portfolio. This role will focus on working through existing testing backlogs, supporting organized and reliable release cycles, and helping establish consistent QA practices within a team that is still new to the organization. You will collaborate closely with engineering and application teams, applying your technical background and development experience to hands‑on testing efforts while contributing to improved release readiness. This is a strong opportunity for someone eager to make an immediate impact in a fast‑evolving environment.

This role is onsite 4x a week in Denver

Pay for this position is $108,000 to $130,000

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of Quality Assurance experience supporting complex, production‑grade systems

Hands‑on experience with JavaScript‑based test automation using tools such as Playwright and/or Cypress

Strong experience building and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks across UI, API, and service layers

Proficiency testing applications built with cloud‑based architectures, including AWS environments

Working experience with one or more backend or scripting languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or Go

Experience embedding automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and partnering closely with engineering teams throughout the SDLC

Strong ability to define test strategies, establish quality metrics, and influence engineers on best‑practice testing approaches in ambiguous problem spaces

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
