Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Mid to Senior .NET Developer for a top global asset management client. This individual will join a collaborative application engineering team focused on building, enhancing, and supporting critical business applications. The role blends hands-on development with close partnership across business and technology teams, offering the opportunity to work with modern .NET technologies, cloud platforms, and data-driven solutions that directly support investment and distribution teams. This is a long-term contract with strong extension potential for developers eager to grow both technically and within the financial services space.
Day-to-Day:
• Partner with product owners and delivery teams in an Agile environment
• Gather requirements and develop new applications and system enhancements
• Maintain and support existing applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to manage dependencies
• Perform ETL processes to download and maintain financial datasets
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards for business partners
• Provide change management support, including documentation and training
• Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-8 years’ experience with Microsoft .NET and C#
• SQL and relational database experience
• ASP.NET Core API development
• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework
• Exposure to source control and collaboration tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with .NET 6/7 modernization
• Microsoft Azure exposure (App Services, Azure SQL, App Registrations)
• Azure AD security and Microsoft Graph
• CI/CD deployment using YAML pipelines
• MVC or Angular SPA UI development
• Microservices and API-based architecture
• ETL and data integration tools (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Python, Power BI, or other data analytics tools
• Asset management or financial services industry experience (distribution/marketing preferred)
