Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Engineer in the Greater Denver Area. This individual will lead like-for‑like replacements and upgrades of substation equipment (e.g., breakers, switches, transformers, relays, bushings, arresters), perform troubleshooting, initiate projects, order materials, develop/adjust designs as needed (brownfield—no greenfield design), coordinate with construction to execute, manage schedules, and ensure communications to all stakeholders (construction, substation maintenance team, etc.). You will be responsible for delivering scoped work packages, materials requisitions, field coordination, and completion of replacement/maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Electrical Engineering Degree
5+ years of experience with substation engineering design
Substation equipment knowledge and troubleshooting experience
Familiarity with brownfield replacement/maintenacne workflows

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PE License
SAP & ProjectWise Experience
Basic PLC/Logic Programming
