A Global Industrial Automation and Energy Management Company is utilizing AVEVA Solutions to expand the Hosted Foundation and Predictive Energy ecosystem to accelerate the delivery of next generation industrial cloud and edge capabilities. The initiative strengthens a hybrid Edge to Cloud platform that supports high volume REST ingestion, advanced energy analytics, AI driven recommendations, secure data synchronization, and integration with third party platforms such as the Industrial Engineering Software Solution PI System, TwinThread/Datamaestro, and decision dashboards.
The Senior QA Engineer will lead automated and manual validation of the AVEVA Hosted Foundation platform across cloud and edge components. This role requires expertise in IoT testing, automated frameworks, Gherkin/Python/Playwright, and testing under constrained network and hybrid deployment conditions. QA Engineer will ensure product reliability, cyber compliance, and regression stability across distributed industrial environments.
This is a full-time job opportunity through Insight Global, working onsite for our Industrial Automation and Energy Management customer. You will need to commute onsite to Insight Global’s Hyderabad Delivery center Monday – Thursday, with 1 day remote, working 1:30pm IST – 9:30pm IST (8am EST – 11am EST overlap).
Compensation:
$8/hr

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in QA for cloud/IoT systems.
• Test automation: Gherkin, Python, Playwright
• IoT protocol testing (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) and edge/cloud scenarios
• Strong systemlevel analysis and defect investigation
• Familiarity with AVEVA PI System, edge connectivity, data ingestion flows
• V&V processes (unit, integration, performance, regression)
• Cybersecurity validation, threat scenario awareness, quality gates
