Job Description
An employer in Boulder, CO is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their growing government services team. This team is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of critical defense systems through classic and modern Systems Engineering Techniques. This person will contribute to all phases of a system lifecycle inclduing CONOPS, requirements, architecture, design, development, integration, test, operations, and maintenance. They will maintain and develop system artifacts including requirements, architecture designs, ICDs, use cases, system flow diagrams, and test plans..
This is a full time, permanent role sitting on 3-5 days a week in Boulder, CO. The days not required in office are able to be remote flex, based on the need. This role is posted at $125,000 - $175,000/yr based on tenure, skillset, and skill level.

Required Skills & Experience
Active DoD Secret security clearance (or higher)
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Computer Science (Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Systems Engineering
Experience with multiple stages of the program lifecycle (design, integration, test, operations, maintenance)
Experience with technical risk identification and management strategies, as well as Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Experience with Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR)
