Job Description

The Financial Planner position primarily focuses on maintaining and adding value to existing client relationships, as well as interacting with other professionals in a team-based structure. This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working in a team environment with a wide range of clients and has the experience and planning knowledge to make each relationship valuable.

Analyzing clients’ financial data gathering to provide
Advisors with financial planning recommendations
Attending client meetings as subject matter expert for specific planning topics
Assisting with the creation, delivery, and implementation of complex financial plans for clients
Researching of specific financial planning topics
Administer and maintain client information across various Financial Planning Software
Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures for the department
Communicate with Advisors on best practices on financial planning subjects
Keep Advisor team up to date on current events related to financial planning

Provide comprehensive financial planning strategies that include but are not limited to the following:

- Estate Strategies
- Tax Planning
- Retirement Planning
- Cashflow Analysis
- Social Security Planning
- Pension Analysis
- Stock Options

Required Skills & Experience

- Comprehensive knowledge of topics related to financial planning
- Experience in financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro & WealthStudios, eMoney, Holistiplan, Salesforce)
- Experience with excel and Adobe
- Strong interpersonal aptitude and solid work ethic
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- CFP Certification required
- Additional designations a benefit (CPA, EA, JD)
- Bachelor’s degree
