Insight Global is partnering with a well established, nonprofit community health clinic in the San Diego area that has served its community for over 50 years. The organization is seeking a Perinatal Program Manager to oversee and lead its perinatal services department, supporting pregnant patients through education, care coordination, and program management.
This is a non clinical leadership role — no nursing license required. The ideal candidate will bring healthcare program management experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for supporting expecting mothers in underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee day to day operations of the Perinatal Services Department, ensuring smooth clinical workflows and program effectiveness
• Develop, implement, and maintain perinatal education and training programs focused on maternal health, nutrition, exercise, and post partum follow up
• Collaborate closely with providers, clinic leadership, and external partners to ensure continuity of care for pregnant and post partum patients
• Support patient follow through by ensuring mothers receive appropriate post delivery care and attend OB GYN follow up appointments
• Monitor program metrics, workflows, and quality initiatives to improve patient engagement and outcomes
• Navigate and manage a fast paced, high volume clinic environment while addressing varied personalities and operational challenges

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of healthcare management or program leadership experience
• Experience working in perinatal, prenatal, maternal health, or women’s health programs
• Strong ability to manage diverse teams and personalities in a busy clinical setting
• Valid driver’s license (multiple clinic sites located within ~10 minutes of each other)
• CPR certification (can be obtained after hire if not currently held)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Childbirth Educator certification (organization will sponsor certification if needed)
• Program development or training program creation experience
• Background in nonprofit or community health clinic environments
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Compensation:
$70,000 to $80,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
