Job Description
We are seeking a Java Backend Developer to design, build, and support scalable, high-performance backend services. You’ll work in a modern microservices environment, building Spring Boot APIs, integrating Kafka-based event streams, and deploying containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices and RESTful APIs using Java (8+) and Spring Boot
Build and support event‑driven architectures using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, and messaging workflows
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage services on Kubernetes
Implement business logic, service integrations, and data access layers with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and follow engineering best practices
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
Support production deployments and troubleshoot backend and messaging issues

Required Skills & Experience
Strong backend development experience with Java (Java 8+)
Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and microservices development
Practical experience with Apache Kafka in a production environment
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications
Solid understanding of object‑oriented design, clean code, and backend system fundamentals
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases
