Job Description
We are seeking backend-focused Fullstack Developers to build and scale secure, high-performance applications supporting enterprise platforms in regulated environments. This role emphasizes backend services, APIs, and system integration, while still contributing to front-end components as needed.
Responsibilities:
-Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices supporting distributed systems
-Build and optimize scalable application logic, data processing, and service integrations
-Contribute to front-end development as needed, with primary focus on backend functionality
-Collaborate with systems engineers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless -integration with infrastructure and cloud environments
-Develop solutions within regulated environments (IL5, DoD-aligned, or similar), ensuring security and compliance requirements are met
-Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code with a focus on performance and reliability
-Support CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment workflows
-Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend and system-level issues
-Partner with cross-functional teams to define architecture and improve system design
-Document backend services, APIs, and system workflows
-Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging processes

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience in backend development
-5+ years of experience using Java
-Ability to work across several enterprise applications and workflows to improve the overall health of the IL5 environment
-Experience using AI to optimize development workflows
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience within FedRamp or the public sector
