Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Environmental Test Technician in the Greater San Jose area. This individual will be responsible for preparing, executing, and supporting environmental qualification and acceptance testing of spacecraft and flight hardware. This position requires hands-on experience operating environmental test equipment, supporting spacecraft test campaigns, and troubleshooting test assets to maximize equipment uptime and you will partner closely with Test Engineering, Integration, Facilities, and Quality to safely execute vibration, thermal vacuum (TVAC), thermal cycling, and other environmental tests while ensuring reliable operation of critical test infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience operating environmental test equipment or equivalent aerospace test experience.
Experience supporting thermal vacuum (TVAC), vibration, thermal cycling, or environmental qualification testing.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and vacuum system issues with minimal supervision.
Experience reading engineering drawings, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and test procedures.
Familiarity with vacuum systems, pumps, chillers, compressed gases, DAQ systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using precision tools and test equipment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Previous spacecraft, satellite, launch vehicle, or aerospace environmental test experience.
Experience troubleshooting TVAC chambers, vibration systems, shakers, thermal systems, vacuum pumps, or environmental chambers.
Familiarity with NI LabVIEW, data acquisition systems, PLCs, or facility control systems.
Experience with instrumentation including thermocouples, RTDs, pressure transducers, accelerometers, strain gauges, and vacuum gauges.
Knowledge of vacuum leak detection techniques, helium mass spectrometry, and vacuum system operation.
Familiarity with cleanroom operations, ESD controls, contamination control, and hazardous operations.
