Job Description
- Serve as the primary liaison between Japan business units and U.S.-based engineering teams
- Work with decentralized Japan HR and identity systems to: Gather identity data, standardize formats, document what fields each business must provide
- Present data format requirements to each business area; ensure they can produce daily extracts
- Translate Japan business processes into requirements for - English‑speaking engineers
- Support the development of the file connector concept: Reviewing table structures, validating data logic / ETL logic, ensuring consistent ingestion into IGA platforms
- Provide guidance to engineers (but does not do engineering work themselves)
- Help onboard apps quickly by connecting business systems → IGA repository
- Support migration from SOX-based legacy apps to modern governance platforms

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years’ experience in enterprise technology, ideally IAM/Cybersecurity
Experience as a Business Process Engineer / Technical Business Analyst
Comfort translating business processes into technical language for engineers
Ability to guide engineering teams without personally doing hands‑on engineering
Critical thinking mindset - must be comfortable questioning requirements and validating technical feasibility
Bilingual: English and Japanese
Ability to work heavily and liaison between Japan workforce teams
Eagerness to learn new technology (Ping, SailPoint, ETL logic, connectors, etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with Japan teams or Japanese business culture
IAM/IGA experience, especially:
PingOne AIC and/or SailPoint IIQ
Experience supporting onboarding of business applications into IGA systems
Familiarity with building or supporting daily data extracts
