Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Head of Programs. You will lead the team of mission managers who own our customer missions end-to-end, and you are accountable for delivering our satellite programs on cost, schedule, and scope. The mission TPMs run day-to-day delivery and report to the mission managers; the professional scheduling and configuration-management functions (the PMO, including the Master Scheduler) report to you. You lead the managers, set the standard, and own the portfolio as a whole. You will build the Programs function into a coherent function with strong mission managers, standard work, a portfolio cadence, and real program controls — the connective tissue between customer commitments, the engineering Centers of Excellence that supply talent, and the factory that builds the hardware

We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, or equivalent experience
12+ years in program or project management for complex hardware programs — spacecraft, satellite, or comparable aerospace/defense — including a track record of delivering programs on cost and schedule
Experience leading and developing managers, not just individual contributors
Experience standing up or maturing a program-management function, PMO, or program-controls discipline
Strong command of program controls — work breakdown structures, scheduling, earned value or equivalent cost/schedule management, and risk management
Demonstrated success operating in a matrix or integrated-product-team organization

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Satellite or spacecraft program leadership, ideally across the full lifecycle (design, build, commission, operate) and scaling toward constellation (rate) production.
Experience in high-mix, low-volume production environments scaling with a growing factory.
Both government and commercial program delivery experience.
Track record building a PMO, scheduling function, or portfolio-management cadence from the ground up
PMP or equivalent certification

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
