Job Description

Design and build infrastructure to support security validation assessment pipelines,
including provisioning compute, networking, and storage resources across multi-cloud
environments.
● Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to manage
repeatable, auditable deployments across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
● Using and contributing to open source technology (Spinnaker, Zookeeper, etc.)
● Writing microservices on containerization frameworks such as Kubernetes, Docker,
Mesos and other services in AWS , GCP , Azure
● Build and maintain systems in all cloud substrates and automate the management end
to end with minimal to no human intervention Integrate security validation agents and
assessment assets into Salesforce-managed cloud environments, enabling continuous
security validation.
● Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning, testing, and
deployment of security engineering streams.
● Collaborate with security and platform engineering teams to align infrastructure with
Salesforce's internal standards, compliance requirements, and trust frameworks.
● Monitor and maintain deployed infrastructure, responding to incidents, optimizing
performance, and managing costs across cloud providers.
● Document architecture decisions, runbooks, and operational procedures to support team
knowledge transfer

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of infrastructure/DevOps engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
● Terraform - proficiency in writing modular, reusable IaC; experience managing state,
workspaces, and remote backends.
● Kubernetes - hands-on experience deploying and managing clusters (EKS, GKE, or
AKS); familiarity with Helm, namespaces, RBAC, and network policies.
● Docker - strong understanding of containerization, image management, multi-stage
builds, and container security best practices.
● Multi-cloud deployment - demonstrated experience deploying and operating workloads in
AWS, GCP, and/or Azure; understanding of cloud-native networking, IAM, and compute
services across providers.
● Proficiency with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar).
● Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go for automation and tooling.
● AMI baking with Packer and security agent embedding
● Spinnaker pipeline configuration
● AWS SSM for instance access
