Job Description
We’re looking for a Community & Marketing Operations Contractor to run the day‑to‑day operations of the community while partnering closely with Legal Operations and Marketing. This is a hands‑on, execution‑heavy role ideal for someone who can “figure it out,” operate independently, and keep multiple workstreams moving — especially outside of events.
What You’ll Do
Community & Marketing Operations
-Manage weekly newsletter and website updates, including content, testing, and scheduling
-Respond to admin inbox and member inquiries within 24 hours
Newsletter, Website & Content
-Build, manage, and optimize newsletters using Mailchimp
-Create and manage forms, surveys, and workflows using Jotform
-Maintain and update the Contract Nerds website; coordinate with vendors or developers as needed
-Support podcast and webinar hosting operations (including basic web hosting coordination)
Events & Programs
-Support monthly webinars and occasional in‑person events
-Coordinate logistics with vendors, sponsors, and internal partners
Operations & Enablement
-Manage external vendors (billing, coordination, basic performance tracking)
-Contribute to process improvement, documentation, and knowledge management

Required Skills & Experience
-3–5 years of experience in community, marketing, or operations roles
-Hands‑on experience running newsletters, webinars, or content platforms
-Strong working knowledge of Mailchimp and Jotform
-Proficiency with Google Docs / Slides
-Comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve efficiency
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience with WordPress
-Experience using Canva for ad or marketing asset creation
-Familiarity with legal, contracts, or legal operations communities
