Job Description
As a Plumbing Designer/Engineer, you’ll join a team of plumbing and mechanical engineers supporting projects ranging from small to large scale, delivering technical plumbing design and engineering solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams to drive high-quality outcomes. This role is ideal for candidates with experience across commercial, institutional, and large infrastructure projects. Exposure to mission critical, healthcare, or high-rise projects is a plus. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of plumbing systems design and the ability to effectively communicate concepts through sketches, layouts, and renderings.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Establishing design standards and criteria for projects, preparing calculations, reports, and specifications
- Performing fire suppression system selection, preparing preliminary designs, and creating performance specifications
- Consulting on areas such as the preparation of existing facility diligence, sustainability analyses, and feasibility reports
- Producing drawings consistent with client requirements and standards
- Taking responsible charge for the projects you will manage

Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Plumbing Design field
- Experience with the latest version of REVIT
- A working knowledge of the various applications of fire suppression systems gained through both formal training (NFPA 99) and project experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- CPD or ASPE Certifications
- Strong project management skills
