Insight Global is looking for a Water Treatment Engineer to support an industry leading environmental engineering firm specializing in planning, designing and constructing water and wastewater facilities in San Diego, CA. This individual will be responsible for supporting project initiatives through designing, optimizing and managing the overall treatment process.
Responsibilities will include:
Conduct civil engineering tasks for water and wastewater treatment facilities and conveyance infrastructure, focusing on site design elements such as layout, yard piping, roadways, paving, grading, and stormwater systems.
Engage in engineering planning and design projects, performing conceptual and preliminary design activities, including site visits, fieldwork oversight, alternatives analysis, and report preparation.
Develop civil engineering plans and specifications.
Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects.
Create technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables.
Coordinate efforts with other engineering disciplines, designers, modelers, technicians, and team members involved in specific assignments.
Participate in field activities such as pilot testing.
Conduct permitting and alternatives analysis.
Participate in field activities and site reconnaissance.
Candidates will need to be local to the San Diego County area or open to relocation.
