Job Description
The Project Coordinator / Expeditor supports Indirect Purchasing by coordinating and expediting machine and equipment-related parts to meet operational and project needs. This role works closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to track orders, validate delivery commitments, and mitigate supply risks to ensure on-time availability of critical components.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm requirements, lead times, and delivery schedules for machine parts.
• Track purchase orders and proactively expedite at-risk or critical components.
• Maintain order trackers, project schedules, and action-item logs through closure.
• Identify delivery risks and support mitigation efforts with Purchasing, Engineering, and Operations.
• Maintain accurate records of order status, supplier commitments, and delivery milestones.
• Prepare concise status updates and reports for purchasing leads and project stakeholders.
Serve as a point of contact between suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear, timely communication.

Required Skills & Experience
-Bachelors Degree
-1-4 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, engineering support, manufacturing coordination, or project coordination.
-Strong organizational, communication, and follow‑up skills with the ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience using project tracking or ERP systems is a plus.
-Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track action items, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience coordinating with suppliers, vendors, or internal stakeholders to support delivery timelines and capacity needs.
-Working knowledge of basic project management concepts (task tracking, milestones, dependencies).
-Detail‑oriented and analytical, with the ability to identify gaps, risks, or delays.
-Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on root cause identification and resolution support.
