Job Description

The Role
Our client is recruiting a motivated and accomplished Engineering Technician to support the Anode Team. This role will focus on hands‑on operational support while collecting and delivering critical data to engineering staff. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently operate equipment, perform material mixing processes, execute testing, and support continuous improvement efforts in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
This role requires strong attention to safety, quality, and process discipline while working closely with engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Manufacture batches in compliance with all safety, quality, and efficiency standards by following written SOPs and verbal work instructions.
• Perform material mixing processes according to established SOPs and support engineering experiments.
• Conduct raw material and powder testing and provide results and data to engineering teams.
• Operate equipment and instrumentation to monitor parameters such as pressure and temperature.
• Perform in‑process and final quality control testing.
• Execute calibrations, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting on mixing and processing equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and production records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Support additional projects as assigned based on changing business needs.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: GED or equivalent
• Experience:
○ Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience following work instructions, using tools, and performing basic technical tasks
○ Experience in manufacturing, lab, chemical processing, or industrial environments preferred
• Physical Requirements:
○ Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
○ Ability to lift and handle materials up to 30 lbs
○ Ability to access equipment in tight or elevated spaces with supervision
• Safety & PPE Requirements:
○ Ability to wear PPE including half‑mask or full‑face respirator or PAPR (powered air‑purifying respirator), coveralls, and other protective gear
○ Must be able to complete fit testing and medical clearance as required
○ Comfortable working with hazardous materials and chemicals

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Technical Skills:
○ Strong mechanical aptitude for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
○ Experience operating and calibrating meters and controls (HMI)
○ Experience with mixing recipe programming, level and pressure sensors
○ Knowledge of raw material and powder testing
