Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Remote Senior Azure Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineer joining the IT Operations team to design, implement, support and maintain mission‑critical infrastructure across Azure and on‑prem environments. This role is critical to the enterprise migration initiative, moving workloads from legacy mainframe and on-prem environments to Azure Cloud so this role requires expertise in Azure infrastructure design, Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Azure DevOps, Terraform, Docker and Python/PowerShell. To be successful in this role you must be self-sufficient and proactive in resolving issues, comfortable working with incomplete details and driving clarity and strong collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience as a Senior Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineer within an Azure environment.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting mission‑critical infrastructure across Azure and on‑prem environments.
- Experience containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Azure Kubernetes (AKS).
- Experience with supporting Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD), automation and deployments with Azure DevOps.
- Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) with Terraform for automated provisioning.
- Experience with scripting and automation utilizing Python and/or PowerShell.
- Experience working in Scrum teams, planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for new product capabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience designing, hardening (SELinux) and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/Ubuntu systems.
- Experience monitoring and optimizing performance using observability tools like Policy-as-Code, Prometheus, and/or Grafana.
- Experience deploying workloads using GitOps patterns with Flux and/or Helm.
- Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Terraform Associate (HashiCorp) - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure environments.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) - Container orchestration, often paired with AKS.
- Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
