Mechanical Engineer II

An employer sitting in Petaluma, CA is looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer II that will be working onsite at their manufacturing site full time. This role will be dedicated to the product development of their Group 3 UAV aircraft. He/she will be responsible for supporting the process improvements, fixtures, and other tasks related to scaling and optimizing operations. He/She will have to work with JIRA items within scope of charter are managed by onsite Systems Engineering. This will be a 6 month contract with potential to extend depending on project workload. He/she will help to make the process more efficient and will be involved in opportunities to improve drawings and updating outdated drawings. This will involve general mechanical engineering tasks and working on the manufacturing line. This role will be paying between ($45-65/hour) depending on years of experience.

- Applied Mechanical Engineering Design experience including composites
- Experience in related field of UAV, missiles, aerospace, automotive, field of (Manufacturing/Production activities).
- Experience supporting the manufacturing line, scaling production, improving drawings
- Experience using SolidWorks
