Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Director of Client Services to serve as the most senior delivery leader supporting a multi‑year engagement for a single strategic life insurance client. This individual will act as the single point of accountability for delivery, client confidence, and overall program success. This role requires consistent executive‑level interaction with the customer and ownership of ensuring the client has continuous confidence in the delivery organization. The Senior Director will function as the ultimate Program Manager, responsible for portfolio oversight, delivery health, forecasting, and accountability across teams. The Senior Director will directly manage approximately 12 direct reports and partner closely with indirect teams based in India, including Business Analysts and Scrum Masters. This role works cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams and must be able to interact effectively with all roles—from executives to developers—within a life insurance technology environment. This role can sit local to Livonia. Michigan with expectations to travel on site as needed or sit remotely but travel to the client roughly every 6-8 weeks.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of senior‑level leadership experience in program, portfolio, or client delivery management
Background in the life insurance industry
Ability to have technical conversations and lead technical discussions across a variety of technologies and partner effectively with engineering teams and clients
Proven success leading large, complex, multi‑year client engagements
Strong executive presence with experience interacting at the C‑suite and senior leadership level
Demonstrated ability to manage and scale teams, including direct reports and offshore/India‑based teams
Deep experience with portfolio management, including delivery planning, forecasting, and accountability frameworks
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Local to or near Livonia Michigan (outside of Detroit)
Experience in InsurTech or enterprise SaaS environments
Prior ownership of large delivery portfolios or practice leadership roles
Experience supporting globally distributed delivery models
