Job Description
An employer is seeking a UX Designer to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. He or she will be joining the consumer organization focusing on creating website to add additional services to the organization for revenue generation - such as TV/subscription services, ad services, etc. The UX Designer will be responsible for wearing many hats in the design phase and must be comfortable taking on additional tasks - such as Project Management, KPI/data analytics and seeing the entire design process through. He or she will lead UX architecture initiatives and define comprehensive user workflows, collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and vendors on integration projects, create and maintain design documentation, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions, partner with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of UX components, manage project timelines and deliverables while balancing multiple design initiatives and present design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership. This is a senior level role with the ideal candidate coming from a start-up background or experience working in e-commerce and a portfolio of work is required. This role is onsite 3 days a week and hourly pay ranges from $95 - $100/hr depending on experience and feedback from the client.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of UX Design Experience with proven track record of possessing architecture level initiatives to define comprehensive user workflow
4+ years of experience defining and documenting user workflows and journey mapping
Experience with Figma (ideally), Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
Strong portfolio demonstrating previous UX design work and problem-solving capabilities
Previous experience with Project Management type of work
Proven ability to cross- collaborate with both internal and external teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Industry experience with e-commerce, YouTube or other TV/subscription or streaming services
