Job Description
An automotive company is seeking a strong Embedded Software Engineer to support next‑generation automotive infotainment systems. This role is hands‑on at the kernel / low‑level OS layer, working primarily in Embedded C / C++ on Zephyr RTOS.
This is a highly technical role suited for engineers comfortable operating close to hardware, RTOS internals, and system‑level problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain embedded software in C / C++ for automotive infotainment platforms
Work within the Zephyr RTOS, including kernel‑level components
Debug and troubleshoot low‑level OS, drivers, and system interactions
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams supporting in‑vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems
Participate in code reviews and contribute to system stability, performance, and reliability

Required Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in Embedded C and C++
Hands‑on experience with Zephyr RTOS
Experience working at or near the kernel layer (RTOS internals, scheduling, memory, interrupts, drivers)
Solid understanding of embedded systems architecture
Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills in constrained environments
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Automotive or infotainment system experience
Experience with other RTOS environments (FreeRTOS, QNX, VxWorks)
Exposure to hardware bring‑up, BSPs, or device drivers
Experience working in Linux‑based embedded ecosystems (even if Zephyr‑focused)
