Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires on-site presence once per month at either our San Ramon or Stockton office, so candidates must be comfortable with this commute.
The Project Manager III will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects from inception to completion, with a focus on corrosion engineering initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget, and have solid experience with process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Focus on process improvement and efficiency.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
Track various milestones and activities for the annual tactical Implementation Plan.
Oversee six major initiatives extending into 2026, ensuring milestones are met and tasks are completed.
Work closely with engineers to ensure individual tasks are on track.
Implement and oversee the work verification process migration project.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Material Science, Mechanical, Corrosion) or a related field; or Engineering experience
Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management
Experience in process improvement and efficiency tracking.
PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Experience in corrosion engineering or related fields.
Past experience with PG&E is highly desirable.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to build schedules and track milestones effectively.
Willingness to commute to San Ramon or Stockton office once per month.
