Day to Day:
The Office of Information Technology is seeking a skilled and independent ServiceNow Administrator to build and maintain service catalogs. This role requires experience in ITSM methodologies and practices, with a focus on process improvement. The administrator will handle the end-to-end development of service requests, working with managers, business owners, and technical staff to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Responsibilities include creating catalog request forms, service portals, Flow Designer, UI Builder, knowledge bases, Agent Workspace, Agile methodologies, sprint planning, CMDB/Discovery, and API implementation. The role also involves providing various IT services such as database administration, application programming, IT project management, systems administration, systems and process analysis, security, solution development, and business technical support. The candidate must be able to apply professional concepts and resolve complex issues within defined procedures and practices.
Duties:
· Build and maintain service catalogs in ServiceNow
· Provide recommendations on process improvement
· Engage in end-to-end development of service requests
· Work with managers, process/business owners, and technical support staff to define and translate business requirements into technical requirements
· Drive the organization toward automation using service management tools
· Ensure adherence to ITIL and ITSM practices
· Monitor system performance and escalate issues to ServiceNow
· Present new product developments to key stakeholders
Compensation:$ 65-72/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
