Job Description
The Revenue Cycle Imaging Specialist will support the Patient Financial Services (PFS) department by managing high-volume document scanning, indexing, and imaging functions critical to revenue cycle operations. This role works onsite under the direction of the CBO Director and serves as a key operational link between the client and the hospital partner.
Responsibilities
• Must be onsite Monday–Friday, full time in Los Angeles
• Scan, index, and upload high volumes of patient billing and financial documents into EHR and document management systems
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper patient identification prior to indexing
• Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards at all times
• Organize and support PFS documentation including EOBs, insurance correspondence, payment records, and billing statements
• Retrieve and distribute scanned documentation to billing and collections teams as needed
• Research and resolve document discrepancies, misfiles, and indexing errors
• Meet daily productivity and quality benchmarks with strong attention to detail
• Utilize high-speed scanners, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office applications
• Follow standardized scanning and document retention processes to support workflow efficiency

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, patient financial services, or medical billing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while meeting strict deadlines
