DSC Alarm & Security Technician

Insight Global is seeking a DSC‑certified Alarm & Security Technician to support commercial and residential clients throughout the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technician who takes pride in clean installations, accurate troubleshooting, and delivering high‑quality security solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, service, and troubleshoot alarm and security systems with a focus on DSC platforms
• Perform system programming, testing, commissioning, and upgrades
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to intrusion alarms, sensors, panels, and peripherals
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, layouts, and system documentation
• Ensure all work meets local codes, manufacturer standards, and company quality expectations
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding system functionality and recommendations
Accurately document work completed, service notes, and materials used

• DSC certification (required)
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience installing and servicing alarm/security systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills across intrusion alarm systems
• Solid understanding of low‑voltage wiring and system integration
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently in the field across the Los Angeles area
