Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Engineering & Delivery for one of our large Media & Entertainment clients. This is a full-time, remote opportunity, with a preference for candidates located in the Los Angeles or New York metro areas.
In this role, you will lead a multi-disciplinary organization spanning Engineering, QA, and Program Management across a portfolio of consumer-facing digital products, including streaming and Connected TV (CTV) experiences across Web, Mobile, and Smart TV platforms. Reporting to the SVP of Product & Technology, you will be responsible for engineering execution, delivery excellence, organizational effectiveness, and quality while leading through a team of managers. You will partner closely with Product leadership to execute against quarterly business priorities, improve engineering velocity, and help scale a fast-moving digital product organization. Key initiatives include expanding Connected TV experiences across platforms such as Samsung, Comcast, Vizio, and LG, advancing AI-assisted development practices, increasing automation maturity, and driving engagement and retention across digital products.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience leading software engineering and technology delivery organizations.
Experience managing managers across Engineering, QA, Program Management, and/or Delivery functions.
Proven experience supporting streaming, OTT, Connected TV (CTV), video, or consumer-facing digital products.
Strong background leading software development teams across web, mobile, and platform environments.
Experience improving engineering velocity, delivery predictability, and operational performance.
Experience building and scaling test automation and quality engineering practices.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery, SDLC best practices, release management, and engineering operations.
Experience partnering closely with Product and business stakeholders to successfully deliver against evolving priorities.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Media, entertainment, streaming, broadcast, or digital publishing experience.
Experience implementing AI-assisted development tools and engineering workflows.
Background supporting Connected TV platforms such as Samsung, LG, Vizio, Comcast/Xfinity, Roku, Fire TV, or similar ecosystems.
Experience leading organizational transformation, engineering modernization, or operating model improvements.
Familiarity with user engagement, retention, and digital product growth metrics.
Local news or content-driven product experience.
