Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Lamination Technician for their aerospace client who specializes in composite components. This position is on-site in Los Alamitos, CA, working either first shift (6am - 1:30) or second shift (12:00 - 8:30) but training will occur during first shift.
The Lamination Technician is responsible for preparing molds and performing composite layups in accordance with standard shop practices and approved procedures. This role involves laying up materials onto molds, ensuring proper placement, and removing air pockets using tools such as rollers, squeegees, and heat guns. The technician will also trim materials with scissors or knives while maintaining the integrity of the mold and layup.

Required Skills & Experience
High School Diploma
1+ years of experience working with composites in a manufacturing setting
Awareness of overall composite process (design, tooling, layup, trim, and inspection)
Understand work instructions and ability to read blueprints
Experience with lamination tools such as: scissors, scales, heat guns
