Job Description
We are seeking a Power Electronics Test & Design Engineer to support traction inverter development for electric vehicle applications in a high-voltage lab environment. This individual will play a hands-on role in testing, data analysis, and lab execution, while also contributing to inverter-related design work, including circuit schematic support. The ideal candidate will have a background in power electronics and/or high-voltage systems, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering setting.
• Execute testing activities in a high-voltage lab, including induction load testing, inverter setup/connection, test execution, and data collection
• Analyze test data and document results to support engineering validation efforts
• Support development of traction inverters for electric vehicle applications
• Assist with design, bring-up, characterization, and troubleshooting of traction inverters
• Contribute to circuit schematic design and validation, including support for PCB layout and electrical analysis
• Perform or support circuit design analysis, thermal analysis, control analysis, and failure analysis as needed
• Help define and support design validation and end-of-line test specifications
Compensation:
$50/hr to $55/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in power electronics, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field, ideally in product development
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage power electronics testing and validation
• Experience with or strong interest in power conversion systems, traction inverters, or related high-voltage applications
• Exposure to circuit schematic design, capture, simulation, or analysis tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
