Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our client's team in Long Beach, CA. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day delivery of IT services for our client's North America operations (roughly 50 employees). Our client is a distributor of aerospace and commercial fasteners & hardware.
This role provides hands-on technical support across end-user devices, Microsoft 365 services, local network infrastructure, and warehouse technology while operating within the governance, standards, and global infrastructure managed by the company’s Global IT function.
The role supports end-user devices, Microsoft 365 applications, and basic warehouse technology, ensuring employees can work effectively and issues are logged, triaged, and resolved or escalated appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Local IT Operations & End User Support
○ Provide hands-on L1 technical support for users across office and warehouse environments
○ Act as the first point of contact for IT support requests and tickets
○ Provide basic troubleshooting for common IT issues following documented procedures
○ Support users with password resets, account access issues, and basic system usage
○ Perform routine device checks and basic troubleshooting
○ Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, VPN, network connectivity and application issues
○ Provide both onsite and remote support across California, Texas and Mexico locations
- Local Infrastructure & Systems Support
○ Support local network infrastructure including switches, Wi-Fi access points, and basic firewall troubleshooting
○ Assist with maintenance of servers, backups and system updates where applicable
- Hardware & Asset Management
○ Deploy and configure computers, mobile devices and warehouse technology
○ Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets across US locations
○ Support onboarding of new employees with workstation setup and system access. Ensure joiner-mover-leaver processes are robustly and consistently applied

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ hands-on experience supporting Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting office and warehouse technology environments
Experience with endpoint deployment and hardware lifecycle management
