Job Description
An employer in the insurance industry is seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager for their fully remote team, with a primary focus on business analysis, third‑party vendor engagement, and compliance‑driven technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner closely with business, compliance and technical stakeholders to analyze business needs, define clear requirements, and support the delivery of technical solutions involving both internal teams and external vendors. This hybrid role emphasizes hands‑on analysis while providing structured project oversight to ensure successful implementations and integrations. Responsibilities include eliciting and documenting business and technical requirements, developing user stories and process documentation, and supporting project tracking and reporting through ServiceNow. The BA/PM will intake and evaluate business‑driven technical requests, assess feasibility and compliance considerations, and help shape initiatives from inception through go‑live. They will work extensively with third‑party vendors, coordinating with vendor compliance and delivery teams, supporting vendor selection and onboarding efforts, and ensuring alignment with internal compliance standards. The role involves facilitating discussions to understand business problems, defining scope and deliverables, supporting capacity planning, and ensuring vendors and internal teams meet agreed‑upon timelines and requirements. This role will manage a portfolio of internal and vendor‑led initiatives, ensuring clear documentation, stakeholder alignment, and successful delivery across infrastructure, operations, and enterprise strategy.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of IT Business Analyst / Project Management experience, supporting enterprise‑scale initiatives
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives (typically 3–5 projects at a time), ranging from small to large in size
Demonstrated experience leading projects end‑to‑end, from inception and requirements gathering through execution, delivery, and successful go‑live
Extensive experience working with third‑party vendors, including vendor selection and onboarding, coordination with vendor compliance teams, and day‑to‑day engagement with vendor project managers
Hands‑on experience supporting vendor compliance activities both internally and externally, including coordination with Compliance stakeholders
Experience using ServiceNow as both a project management and ITSM tool (e.g., demand intake, workflow tracking, change management, incident/problem coordination)
Strong documentation skills, including creation of business and technical requirements, user stories, project plans, and end‑to‑end process documentation built from the ground up
Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment, partnering closely with product owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders
