Job Description
An employer in the insurance industry is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to join the fully remote team. This person will be responsible for serving as the technical lead within a client‑central Salesforce environment, balancing hands‑on development with architecture and leadership responsibilities. On a daily basis, this person will spend approximately 50% of their time writing, maintaining, and enhancing OmniStudio solutions, along with Lightning and Apex development, and the remaining 50% providing technical leadership by answering questions, reviewing designs, and guiding architectural decisions. They will step into a Salesforce environment where the client‑central migration is nearing completion and operate within a large, shared Salesforce org supporting approximately 3,000 users. This person will own technical direction for OmniStudio requirements, Service Cloud functionality, basic test and development processes, and custom development, while consuming existing MuleSoft integration points. They will ensure proper application lifecycle management using modern ALM tools beyond change sets and will play a key role in governance, scalability, and solution quality. Strong communication is essential, as this role requires confidently driving technical conversations, providing clear answers, and pushing back when needed to ensure sound architectural outcomes.
