Job Description
The responsibility of Payroll Specialist is to reviewing provider (doctor) contracts, including independent
contractor, analyze pay data and provide payroll supports, Work closely with legal, accounting and IT, to
ensure payroll is process timely and accurately and in compliance with provider contracts. Additionally, Sr
Analyst, Payroll will produce reports to requisite departments and management as appropriate.
1. Review and analyze provider contracts, and ensure contracts are properly setup in the Doctor
Comp system.
2. Set up RDH incentives contracts in Doctor Comp system, including set up calculation, and entry
into the payroll systems.
3. Run doctor daily draw reports and pull out payment report on a semi-monthly or monthly basis.
4. Extract doctor payment reports from Doctor Compensation System and upload into Workday to
support accurate payment.
5. Provide training to the regions for time and labor and Payroll self-service, as needed.
6. Monitor and manage the provider pay ticketing system, including reassigning tickets to
appropriate parties and responding to inquiries from clinicians and other team members.
7. Consistently supporting the payroll manager with ways to streamline payroll processes.
8. Assist with system enhancements and initiatives by providing requirements and UA testing.
9. Process terminations for doctors including termination calculation and payroll file preparation.
10. Process Provider Sick and Training pay as needed
11. Perform month end reconciliations for providers earned compensation and monthly
reconciliations
12. Work with field team members (OM/RM/RP/TP/OD) to ensure audits where needed when a
potential error has occurred.
13. Responsible for explaining payroll procedures, practices and policies to regional management
and providers. Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures.
14. Compiling data upon requests for other departments.
15. Performs other duties as assigned my management or as may be necessary

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field, and 6+ years of
relevant work experience. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience is required.
x Knowledge of general payroll practices, Federal and State regulations and SOX controls.
x Comprehensive knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local tax regulations.
x Knowledge of GAAP accounting and general ledger journal entry processing.
4 years of progressive payroll experience, multi state
Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's,
Contracts experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Has worked with a ticketing system
