Job Description
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing HR‑related questions, concerns, and benefit inquiries
• Partner with leadership to ensure HR policies and practices align with company values and employee well‑being
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and general HR documentation
• Actively manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits
• Work directly with insurance brokers and benefit providers to:
○ Refresh and obtain benefits quotes on a regular basis
○ Compare offerings from multiple carriers
○ Analyze cost changes related to employee demographics (e.g., average age shifts)
○ Negotiate competitive rates and improved coverage
• Monitor market trends and provide recommendations on how benefits offerings should evolve
• Continuously improve and update the benefits packet, ensuring clarity and accessibility for employees
• Communicate benefits changes clearly and advocate for employee interests during renewals and negotiations
• Coordinate and book business travel, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries for executives and leadership
• Provide general administrative support such as calendar coordination, meeting logistics, and document preparation
Assist leadership with ad‑hoc administrative and organizational needs

Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in HR administration, benefits coordination, executive assistance, or a related role
• Hands‑on experience working with insurance brokers and benefits vendors
• Strong understanding of employee benefits and HR best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable balancing employee advocacy with business and budget considerations
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
