Job Description

We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical lead and final design authority for the electronics powering our commercial and next‑generation insulin pump platforms. This is a high‑ownership individual contributor role focused on low‑power, wearable medical devices, with responsibilities spanning electrical architecture, schematic & PCB design, motor control systems, and Bluetooth/wireless/RF. You’ll support products from concept through regulatory approval and manufacturing, working closely with cross‑functional teams and third‑party test labs. This is onsite 5 days a week in Irvine, CA, start time flex (7am-9am).

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in product development as an electrical engineer
Hands on experience with design, testing and commercialization of product
Strong hands-on hardware design background
Very strong professional communication Experience with electrical design software (Strongly preferred Altium Designer)
Ability to clearly communicate design decisions and technical tradeoffs
Strong collaboration and troubleshooting mindset

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Low power embedded system design experience
Python scripting for test automation and data analysis
RF design and validation experience
IEC 60601 compliance experience including EMI/EMC/ESD
Experience working under FDA design controls and 510(k) submissions
