Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Staff Software Engineer to serve as a technical leader and key contributor across high-impact engineering initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving the delivery of scalable, high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical leader across the team, guiding architectural decisions and ensuring best practices in system design and development
- Lead the design and development of scalable, distributed systems and microservices-based architectures
- Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to define technical solutions and align on priorities
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of continuous feedback, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Support project planning and execution, including scoping, prioritization, and delivery of high-quality code
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering practices, including CI/CD, testing strategies, and deployment processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful, end-to-end solutions that meet business and user needs
- Contribute hands-on to coding, code reviews, and system design

Required Skills & Experience

- 6-8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with strong hands-on coding ability
- Expertise in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Go, or similar
- Strong experience designing and building scalable systems, including microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction
