Job Description

Anduril is seeking an EMC Systems Test Engineer with a deeper technical understanding of EMC testing, system integration, and failure analysis. This engineer will serve as the bridge between electrical design and EMC qualification efforts, ensuring products are properly integrated, interfaced, and tested. The candidate has experience working in not only execution of tests, but can also diagnose failures and recommend corrective actions
Responsibilities:
• Lead EMC test planning and execution for airborne, missile, and autonomous systems
• Evaluate system architectures and develop strategies for EMC qualification
• Design and implement cable harnesses, interfaces, and test setups required to connect hardware to EMC test equipment
• Review electrical schematics, layouts, and system integration documentation
• Perform failure analysis and identify root causes of EMC test failures
• Provide recommendations to electrical and systems engineering teams to resolve compliance issues
• Partner closely with product teams, electrical engineers, and integration engineers throughout the development lifecycle
• Support testing of flight systems including Fury, Barracuda, and other AD&S products

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline
• 4+ years of EMC, EMI, systems integration, or electrical test engineering experience
• Strong understanding of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464
• Experience building test interfaces, cable harnesses, and EMC test configurations
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and system-level designs
• Experience performing root cause investigations and failure analysis

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Nice to Have:
• Experience working in third-party EMC laboratories (Element, NTS, etc.)
