Senior Engineering Technician

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Technician to join the New Product Development team. In this role, you will support engineering activities across the product development lifecycle, including design, testing, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, robotics, automation systems, and specialized test equipment. You will work closely with engineers to run tests, troubleshoot issues, and gather data to support design decisions. Responsibilities include building and modifying prototypes, supporting robotic and automated system development, and identifying and resolving system issues using schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions. This role requires hands-on experience with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators, along with strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills in a moderately complex environment.

• Associate’s (AA) degree in a technical field (electronics or related preferred)
• 4-6 years of hands-on technician experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Strong experience using test and diagnostic equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, instrumentation tools)
• Experience working with electronics and cable assemblies, including prototyping and building cables
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
Proven experience with troubleshooting, testing, and supporting engineering development efforts

• Experience with Altium or similar electrical design software
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD tools
• Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping
Exposure to electrical or mechanical system design environments
