Job Description

The Specialist II, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Engineering serves as a key technical expert supporting regulatory and compliance initiatives within Nordson’s Electronic Solutions business. This role is responsible for ensuring product and process compliance across the full lifecycle, with a strong focus on global regulations and chemical compliance. Working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams, this individual supports new product development, maintains compliance documentation, and helps improve and implement effective compliance processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–7 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance engineering, or a related field (experience prioritized over degree)
• Strong working knowledge of global compliance standards including CE, SEMI, PFAS, REACH, RoHS, and related regulations
• Ability to prepare and manage compliance documentation (e.g., technical files, declarations, certifications)
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret large data sets
• Ability to work cross-functionally and provide clear regulatory guidance to engineering and operations teams
• Experience coordinating with third-party organizations for equipment evaluation and compliance validation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects effectively

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in chemical compliance and related regulatory initiatives
• Familiarity with tools or systems for compliance data management such as GreenSoft
• Experience submitting regulatory data and supporting global compliance reporting
• Exposure to quoting processes and supporting customer or investor-facing compliance discussions
• Experience working with international teams or supporting compliance across multiple countries/regions
• Ability to build and improve compliance processes and frameworks
Strong communication skills with the ability to train or guide engineering teams on regulatory standards
