Job Description
We are looking for a I&C Maintenance Technician to join our team in Blythe immediately. This will be a 4/10 shift - working either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday from 6-4:30pm.
This person's primary responsibilities are focused on installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant equipment. In addition, heavy emphasis will focus on compliance with safety standards. You will be responsible for the following:
Perform all actions related to the preventive maintenance program of the company
Diagnoses Electrical systems problems
Performs a variety of Electrical maintenance activities, including, but not limited to, equipment and test equipment calibration and alignment, inspection, testing, lubrication, etc.
Serves as a technical resource for personnel with regards to electrical systems operation and maintenance
Ensure maintenance of equipment and repairs when required
Help solve problems related to maintenance
Suggest continuous improvement projects
Participate in equipment installation and help during start-ups
Test equipment in order to assure productivity and performance
Ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures such as Lockout/Tag-out, Confined Space, PPE are followed by themselves and by others working in and around the machinery

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of I&C experience in related field - power plants, refineries, hospitals etc.
Journeyman Electrician certification preferred
Experience with electrical Power Plant systems
Experience with PLCs
Good communication and self starter/go-getter
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Instrumentation experience
Journeyman preferred
