Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to join the AI Powered Engineering Team. This team enables engineers across lululemon to build, operate and evolve software more effectively through AI-Driven tooling and platforms. The team focuses on developer experience, automation, and responsible use of AI to reduce cognitive load improve quality, and accelerate delivery. This team partners closely with product engineering, platform, security, and data teams to ensure AI tooling is safe, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

As a Senior AI Platform Engineer, you operate as a technical and organizational multiplier. You drive adoption of AI‑powered engineering tools, shape tool strategy and roadmap in partnership with stakeholders, and ensure tools deliver clear value through measurable usage and outcomes. You also lead learning, enablement, and community practices that help engineers confidently and responsibly use AI in their daily work. This role blends technical leadership, platform enablement, metrics, and community building, with influence that extends well beyond a single team.

Responsibilities:
- Drive enterprise adoption of approved AI‑powered engineering tools by partnering with engineering teams, platform owners, and leadership
- Act as a trusted advisor on when and how AI tools fit into engineering workflows
- Champion responsible and compliant usage patterns aligned with internal AI guidelines
- Evaluate new and emerging AI tools and capabilities for engineering use cases
- Partner with product, security, legal, and architecture stakeholders to assess risk, value, and readiness
- Collaborate on the AI tooling roadmap, balancing near‑term productivity gains with long‑term platform strategy
- Define and capture metrics related to AI tool deployment, adoption, and usage
- Use data to inform roadmap decisions, investment recommendations, and continuous improvement
- Ensure tooling integrates cleanly with existing enterprise platforms and developer experiences
- Curate and recommend high‑quality educational resources for engineers adopting AI tools

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering (preference for retail space)
- Hands on experience working with a variety of AI platforms
- Experience integrating or operating AI-assisted tools in engineering contexts
- Deep experience as an application or platform engineer working across multiple teams or domains
- Strong understanding of developer tooling, internal platforms, and engineering workflows
