Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for a top legal services client. This candidate will support a busy Labour & Employment practice group by managing legal documentation, coordinating court and client-related schedules, maintaining organized file systems, and ensuring critical deadlines are met. The ideal candidate brings strong litigation knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting legal professionals in a fast-paced environment. Day-to-Day:
• Draft and transcribe legal documents and general correspondence
• Coordinate court bookings, hearings, mediations, discoveries, and client meetings
• Manage files, organize documents, update binders, and maintain filing systems
• Prepare and maintain bring-forward systems and deadline reminders
• Open, maintain, and close client files
• Liaise with Billing Coordinators regarding monthly account production
• Provide administrative support to the Labour & Employment practice group
Complete additional administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant program
4-8 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in litigation, preferably within Labour & Employment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
Thorough understanding of litigation legal procedures
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous experience with Elite 3E
• Experience supporting Labour & Employment lawyers within a large law firm environment
• Experience coordinating court appearances, mediations, discoveries, and hearings
Strong billing coordination experience
