Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a DevOps/CICD contractor for a fintech company in Canada. The successful candidate will join the existing CI/CD team, accelerate ticket closure, and contribute to production rollout readiness.
Rapidly execute and resolve CI/CD backlog tickets across DEP SaaS pipelines
Collaborate daily with the internal CI/CD team for knowledge continuity and issue troubleshooting
Support automation, build, release, and deployment activities in a high-velocity SaaS environment
Document fixes, scripts, and workflows, ensuring easy handover at contract completion
Identify process improvements and operational bottlenecks
Assist in production rollout preparation by ensuring pipelines are optimized, reliable, and thoroughly tested
Attend project stand-ups and provide status updates to project leadership

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years hands-on experience building, managing, and troubleshooting a GitOps-native CI/CD environment using ArgoCD (reconciliation), Argo Workflows (CI pipeline orchestration), and Kargo (automated environment promotion)
Advanced understanding of hierarchical Helm umbrella charts, specifically managing the split between immutable chart sources and environment-specific mutable configurations
Experience automating database migration lifecycles using Liquidbase within a Kubernetes-native pipeline, including managing per-tenant migration tracks and rollforward/rollback tags
Strong proficiency with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR), and secure secret management utilizing Azure Key Vault and External Secrets Operator (ESO)
Expertise in scripting (Shell/Python) for complex CI/CD tasks, such as cross-environment artifact synchronization (skopeo), registry management, and debugging deployment failures in an observability-driven environment (Grafana/Prometheus)
