Business Systems Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join one of North America's largest retail and wellness clients. The ideal candidate will be joining a Data Analytics team that is supporting store reporting. This team will be looking at data from retail system and determining how to better support customer journeys from purchase through to delivery of the product. As the BSA on this team, you will be responsible for supporting the data reporting and ensuring that is it being reported properly for other teams to be able to utilize.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

* Identify, gather, and prioritize business, functional, and technical requirements from stakeholders
* Identify and evaluate business processes, workflows, and roadmaps
* Create and maintain data-driven reports to support business decision-making
* Lead cross-functional collaboration and communications with business stakeholders
* Create and maintain relevant documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities

- Has 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
- Has experience within data requirements or system integrations (API integrations or pulling data from other data sources such as Kafka)
- Has experience with SQL, Snowflake and Power BI
- Awareness of LLM & AI usage in reporting space
- Has an understanding how to model data to make useful for other teams to use
- Working experience in dealing with big data and large-scale enterprise systems
- Has experience with Jira and Confluence

- Working experience with cloud platforms namely AWS.
- Retail experience is a plus. (Fashion retail experience would be ideal).
