Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the Digital Analytics team of a large Vancouver-based retail organization. This individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving analytics initiatives focused on Power BI, SQL, and emerging Agentic Analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate stakeholder needs into detailed user stories, requirements, and Jira tickets.
- Support Power BI reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and data teams to deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
- Identify and help resolve blockers impacting project delivery.
- Maintain project documentation in Confluence.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data or analytics-focused environment.
- Strong experience with Power BI, SQL.
- Extensive experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working in Agile environments with sprint planning and user story development.
- Strong documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
