Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Analyst (Fulfillment Planning) to join an enterprise retail company hybrid in Mexico City. This Analyst sits at the center of Mexico fulfillment planning, partnering across eCommerce, sales, marketing, merchandise planning, distribution centers, and 3PLs (third party logistic providers). The role owns day to day fulfillment planning for the Mexico market, identifying risks, managing performance, and translating operational realities back to the business.
• Act as the connective point between commercial teams, merchandise planning, and DC (distribution center) operations.
• Manage inventory flow and fulfillment planning across all channels.
• Monitor throughput and capacity constraints; proactively flag risks (e.g., peak events like Cyber 5).
• Build scenarios and simple models to anticipate capacity issues and reprioritize risk.
• Partner closely with 3PL providers, understanding capabilities and managing performance expectations.
• Track DC and outbound carrier KPIs (service level, timeliness, cost to serve).
• Translate fulfillment challenges (slow DC, capacity gaps, sales variability) into clear business insights.
• Own reporting and performance visibility; partner with analytics teams to improve dashboards and data access.
• Communicate clearly across functions, influencing without formal authority.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain or planning (fulfillment, demand, production, logistics, financial, or merchandise planning).
• Experience working with 3PLs and/or distribution center operations.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort modeling capacity, throughput, and risk scenarios.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work independently as a self starter in a maturing market.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable challenging assumptions and managing up.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and across multiple stakeholders.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Power BI and/or SQL experience.
• Experience improving reporting, KPIs, or data models.
• Onsite experience with logistics partners or DCs.
• Experience supporting a market with unique operational constraints (e.g., franchise or regional nuance).
